Summer is in full swing and fall is just around the corner, which means that we have launched our new selling season, Spring&Summer’2017! Let’s see what the designers have in store for us.
Inspiration seeped into the new collections from all over the world: Style Butler, for one, sourced it from hot Cuba and delicate Seoul. The result is a stunning combo of simple and chic: It sports many flowy, breezy and light as well as more unisex items. Embroidered flowers and military prints peacefully coexist together, offering a perfect wardrobe for women who consider themselves “world citizens”.
For its SS17 collection Bitte Kai Rand tapped into the well of inspiration that is ancient Egypt: Its pieces are sporting scarab beetle and Cleopatra prints, nature color palette and clean lines that provide lots of layering options. The brand is faithful to its Scandinavian aesthetic while combining it with the old world in its SS17 line.
Santiago Knits, an LA-based brand with Argentinian roots, prepared a stunning collection of super lightweight hand-loomed knitwear. Inspired by yacht vacations and leisurely lifestyle of the rich, it ensures future owners of SS17 pieces to look and feel their best: The items just ooze of luxury and comfort.
Marilyn Tan of Marilyn Tan Jewellery is faithful to her own tradition of making timeless but bold pieces. Crafted with untamed stones and set into .925 silver and 18k gold, they’re still a staple of every fashionista who is most afraid to appear boring. In her SS17, Marilyn Tan blows up the jewellery world with an uber-trendy accessory: ear jackets. Good old friendship bracelets/chokers, dreusy rings and caged jade are also coming back next summer.
Who of us is not fascinated by bodacious aristocracy and “dolce far niente” lifestyle? Stine Goya certainly is. Inspired by one of the most scandalous fashion icons of the XXth century, Luisa Casati, the SS17 collection is boasting of exquisite designs in lush and dramatic hues of burgundi, red and indigo and exquisite fabrics like 100% silk, viscose and linen.
Sofie Schnoor‘s SS17 collection was created for everyday wear: garnered in 100% viscose, cotton and mixed fabrics, their simple but trendy pieces provide comfort throughout the day but are still dazzling. Multiple patterns and fun color palette give the collection a lot of variety, and for playing it up Sofie Schnoor added some chic elements, such as shimmering fabrics, lace and flirty cutouts.
