Los-Angeles based brand Santiago Knits has been blessing us with their gorgeous hand-made pieces for a few years now, and each collection dazzles us with versatility, elegance and poise.
The SS17 line is no exception: inspired by leisurely summertime lifestyle, it bestowes upon you the sense of luxury, ease along with a hint of attitude. Ultra-light pieces are rendered in calming and rejuvenating colors reminding of a decadent vacation on a beautiful island.
Julio Santiago, the head designer of the brand, created a unique blend of yarn: A mixture of viscose, wool and silk feels super soft to the touch, and it’s very breathable and light enough for even the hottest of summers. Geometrically balanced silhouettes, reminiscent of Greek goddesses and Hollywood divas of the 30s, look amazing on all kinds of bodies. It’s certainly not something every knitwear designer can achieve but what Santiago Knits nails every season!
